Chief Oncology Nurse
Ms. Smith graduated from
Albany University, New York, with a B.S. Degree in
Nursing and received her Master’s Degree as an Adult
Nurse Practitioner from Stony Brook University, Long
Island, New York. She is certified in Oncology Nursing (OCN)
and also Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). She has
exceptional nursing experience, with 20 years in
Oncology nursing. Among other duties, she will oversee
the Brachytherapy Programs at the Gulf International
Cancer Center.
Carolyn Gierga
RadiationTechnologist
Graduated from Erie
Community College, Buffalo, New York with AAS Degree in
Radiation Therapy Technology in 1989. Carolyn had
tremendous experience in hospital based and ambulatory
Cancer Centers. She worked at Massachusetts general
Hospital in Boston before joining the Gulf International
Cancer Center. She is dedicated to the delivery of
highest radiation technology for the cancer patients.
Kay Nesbit
RadiationTechnologist
Graduated from Glasgow
Caledonian University with a BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic
Radiography. Kay was a Superintendent at the Beatson
Oncology Center in Glasgow before joining the Gulf
international Cancer Center. Her experienced knowledge
is dedicated to deliver state of the art radiation
treatment for cancer patients. She is interested in
implementation of new technologies in cancer care. |
