Aly Abdel Razek, M.D., FACRO

Dental Implants Dr. Abdel Razek graduated from Cairo University. He completed his residency in 1976 at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., USA. He is board certified in both Radiation Oncology and Pediatrics. He co-authored four text books in radiation oncology and contributed to many publications in oncology journals. He served on the national committee of the Southwest Oncology Group, Intergroup Ewings Sarcoma and National Wilms Tumor Committee. Dr. Abdel Razek is a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology. He is president of Medical Resources International and Chairman and Executive Director of the Gulf International Cancer Center.

Dr. Yashaswini Shivashankara

Dental Implants Dr. Yashaswini graduated in 2007 and obtained MD in Radiation Oncology from Rajiv Gandhi University of health Sciences, Bangalore, India in 2012. During her MD residency, her Thesis was on Image based- MRI guided Brachytherapy. She has practiced all high end radiotherapy techniques like 3DCRT, IMRT, IGRT, Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), SRT, SBRT, Rapid Arc, Adaptive radiotherapy, Image guided brachytherapy, Deep Inspiratory breath hold gating technique, Total Body irradiation (TBI) and Total skin electron therapy(TSET). She has worked as consultant in HCG Cancer center Bangalore and Joined Gulf International cancer center Abu Dhabi in 2016 as Consultant Radiation Oncologist.

Dr. Aladdin Maarraoui, MD, FACP.

Dental Implants Dr. Maarraoui graduated from Faculty of Medicine at Aleppo University/ Syria. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, in 1992, and his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado, USA in 1999. He was Assistant Professor at University Hospital, University of Colorado in 2000. He is Adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine at Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. He is American Board Certified in Internal medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. Dr. Maarraoui authored and co-authored several abstracts and articles on Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer, Thyroid Cancer, Lung cancer and Lymphoma. He served as Chief of Hematology/Oncology at Mafraq Hospital, Abu Dhabi for 15 years. He Joined Gulf International Cancer Center in 2019 as Chief of Hematology/Oncology.

Dr. Yazan Z. Alabed, M.D., Ph.D.

Dental Implants Dr. Alabed is Chief of Nuclear Medicine and Director of Department of Molecular Imaging at Gulf International Cancer Center. Dr. Alabed earned his medical degree from McGill University, Montreal, Canada and graduated from the combined MD-PhD program in 2009. He received his PhD in Neuroscience at the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI). He completed his Nuclear Medicine residency training at McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) in 2014. He also completed fellowship training in PET/CT Cancer Imaging at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute – Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA in 2015. He is double board-certified from the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has published numerous articles in his field. He expertly uses various PET tracers including FDG, F18-Choline, NaF, Ga-68 DOTA peptides, GA-68 PSMA and F18-PSMA.
